UPS will never become a green company: Here is why. I find it interesting how "they" are boasting about one of their drivers recently hit the 1,000,000 mile mark in his 1987 GMC delivery truck. Frankly it makes you sick in the stomach when think about how much waste and carbon this vehicle has created over the last 22 years of use. And to add to that, this is only 1 vehicle out of several thousand UPS delivery trucks that run each day.
